Fish Masala

Fish curry is an inevitable dish to Kerala, The exotic version of Rani fish masala brings sensational flavor and a lingering aroma to your dish.



Ingredients: Chilli, Kashmiri Chilli, Coriander, Turmeric, Salt, Mustard, Fenugreek, Garlic, Dry ginger

Rani Buds Fish Curry:

  1. Fish- (Cleaned and Cut)- 1 kg
  2. Rani Buds fish masala – 50g
  3. Cambodge Water- 4 cups
  4. Coconut Oil- 2 tsp
  5. Mustard Seeds – ¼ tsp
  6. Ginger (finely cut) – 1 tbsp
  7. Green Chillies – 6
  8. Garlic – 6 flakes
  9. Salt – to taste
  10. Curry leaves – 2 stalks


Heat oil in a vessel ( preferably an earthen one). Splutter the mustard seeds and sauté ginger, green chillies, garlic and curry leaves. Add rani buds fish masala and stir well. Put the fish pieces into this, along with cambodge water and salt. Cook  on a low flame till done.
