Sambar Powder

Sambar is a popular south Indian gravy, used with dishes for breakfast lunch or even dinner. This flavourfull south indian recipie powder is made with grinding various type of basic Indian spices like coriander seeds, cumin seeds, mustard seeds, black peppercorns, dry red chilies, fenugreek seeds, cinnamon, dry coconut etc.



Ingredients: Coriander, chilli, chickpea, lentil, fenugreek, salt, asafoetida, turmeric.

Rani buds sambar:

  • Dhal- ½ teacup
  • Rani buda sambar powder-3 tablespoon
  • Chopped assorted vegetables- 5 teacups
  • Chopped lady’s finger and tomato- 1 teacup
  • Red chilli, small onion, mustard and curry leaves- as required.
  • Tamarind water and salt as required
